Židlochovice city was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to deadlock in June 2026. The organization, operating in the Public Sector sector in CZ, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.
deadlock operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.
Internal city administration documents have been leaked. Personal data from the database will be sold on darknet forums. Mayor 'Jan Vitula' claims the attack was prevented and no data was stolen.
