case.law was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to black x in June 2026. The organization, operating in the Business Services sector in PH, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

black x operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Since incorporation in 1972, CRS has delivered services to a diverse group of clients, primarily in the corrections and detention fields, at the local, regional, state, and national levels.   We stole passport data from over 300 customers at CRS.
