Genesis Engineering Group

Genesis Engineering Group was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to Dark Project in August 2026. The organization, operating in the Manufacturing sector in United States, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

Dark Project operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Due to cyberattack on Genesis more than 75Gb of company personal data was stolen. Leakage contains big amount of sensitive data such as personal emlpoyes documents, company's customers data, bank and financial information documents.
