Stride Learning was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to shadowbyt3$ in May 2026. The organization, operating in the Education sector in United States, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

shadowbyt3$ operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Stride Learning Should've Paid the ransom. We were only asking $500,000 in bitcoin or monero it's not that hard. This is a warning to all companies that if you don't pay it will get leaked. If you pay you have are word that it's deleted also with a picture before and after. If you want we will also take a video.
